Raja Edirisuriya appointed Chairman of the BoI.

  Raja Edirisuriya, Executive Project Management Director of Colombo Port City Development Project, has been appointed as the Chairman of the Board of investments by President Gotabaya Rajapksa. Edirisuriya a structural engineer, holds a Masters degree from Rutgers University-New jersey and holds an MBA from the University of Laverne in California. Edirisuriya was appointed to fill the vacancy created by Sanjay Mohottala. Mohttala tendered his resignation along with the other members of the board. Initially, President Rajapaksa declined to accept his resignation but later appointed Edirisuriya to fill the vacancy.
