Lawyer Nuwan Bopage made a suspect in the Galle Face Aragalaya case

Attorney-at-Law Nuwan Bopage, who was an active participant in the "Gota Go Gama" protest, has been named as the 59^th suspect in a case filed before the Colombo Fort Magistrate’s Court. Filing a further report before Colombo Fort Magistrate Thilina Gamage, police today named social activist Nuwan Bopage as a suspect for forcibly entering the Presidential Secretariat and damaging its properties during a protest. Actress Damitha Abeyratne, Fr. Jeewantha Peiris, and several other Aragalaya activists were named as suspects in this case. They are currently out on bail. A date for further magisterial inquiry into the matter was set for January 13.
