Disnesh Shafter's body was exhumed in the presence of forensic experts and family members.

The body of Janashakti Group Director Dinesh Shafter is currently being exhumed at the Borella Public Cemetery in the presence of forensic experts. Colombo Additional Magistrate Rajinda Jayasuriya yesterday refused a request of the President’s Counsel, who is watching the interests of the deceased, Janashakti Group Director Dinesh Schafter's family, that the body of Shafter be exhumed privately without exposing it to the public. The magistrate ordered the family members to be present at the site to identify the body. The postmortem will be conducted under the supervision of forensic experts at the Karapitiya Teachin hospital premises.
