Central Bank releases US$ 1.1 million to secure Milk Fo0d from the Port

The Central Bank yesterday agreed to provide nearly 1.1 million US dollars to allow Milk Powder importers to secure the release of Milk food consignments held by the Colombo Port. Milk food importers, however, said the amount released by the Central Bank may not be sufficient. to secure the release of a large stock of Milk Powder from the Port.
