Two Police officers suspended after a man jumped out of the Jeep to his death

A Sub Inspector and a Sergeant attached to the Panadura North Police suspended after a man allegedly jumped out of a moving police jeep to his death. Police said the two officers suspended for dereliction of duties and failure to act with responsibility when taking the suspect. The 42-year-old man jumped out of the Police Jeep while being taken to the police station for violating quarantine rules yesterday.
