Two construction workers have died following the collapse of a mound of earth.

Two masons who were building a concrete wall in a house near the old Kachcheriya in Nuwara Eliya were killed when a mound of earth collapsed on them.?Preliminary investigations have found that the contractor dug the soil to build the foundation for the wall without any safety measures. The bodies have been sent for a postmortem, and the police are conducting investigations.
