Sri Lanka was placed under restrictions following an acute fuel shortage

A special mechanism will be in place from the 10^th of July to provide LP gas and fuel continuously without any interruption Cabinet Spokesperson said.

Fuel will be issued only for essential services during this period.

Meanwhile, Railways Department says the restrictions in place will not affect railway services and they will operate normally.
