Sajith defies the curfew.

Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa defied the curfew imposed by the government and went on a protest march from the office of the Leader of the Opposition towards Independence Square, accompanied by many Parliamentarians of the SJB. Police encountered the protest march with barricades and swarms of Policemen around the place. The SJB protestors demanded that they want to go before the statue of the father of the nation, Prime Minister D.S Senanayake, the pioneering figure at the forefront of the freedom struggle against the British, along with other nationals figures.
