Pastor Jerome's parents tendered an unreserved apology on account of the controversial statements made by their son

They made the apology when they met with Ven. Omalpe Sobitha Thera at the headquarters of Sri Lanka Ramannaya Maha Nikaya yesterday. Pastor Fernando, who has been accused of making statements that could trigger religious disharmony, is presently out of the country.
