Director of the Health Promotion Bureau DrRanjit Batuwanthudawa has admitted that the statistics hitherto published by the Health Authorities is erroneous. However, he says there was no attempt to hide facts from the people, but it was due to erroneous reporting of the number of victims. When we receive correct data relating to the number of infected, persons the death ratio will take a lower value against the number of infected persons. He said.
