US jolts into action to help India

Slammed across the social, political, and business spectrum for perceived indifference to India reeling under a Covid-19 wave, the Biden-Harris dispensation jolted into action on Sunday, pledging to commandeer all possible supplies and resources to help New Delhi in its struggle to contain the pandemic. After almost 72 hours of silence from the time India began to breach the record infections mid-week, President Joe Biden tweeted, "Just as India sent assistance to the United States as our hospitals were strained early in the pandemic, we are determined to help India in its time of need."(Times of India)
