SLFP President Maithripala Sirisena said that Parliamentarian Dayasiri Jayasekera can be given any position in the party other than the General Secretary post.
"If he is willing to stop unnecessary activities, we are ready to bring him into the SLFP fold", he said.
The former President said that Jayasekera should come to an agreement with the party that he would not indulge in any activity that would affect the party.
"His party membership has been temporarily suspended, and we can revert this decision at any time if he is willing to stop such activities.
